Privacy Policy
What we collect, where it goes, and how to get it back.
What we collect
When you submit a form (inquiry or lead-magnet), we collect:
- Your name, business email, company, and country of origin.
- The form fields you fill (persona, blocker, budget, stage, message).
- Anti-spam metadata: your IP address (truncated to /24 within 7 days), country code, browser user-agent string.
Where it goes
- Brevo (Sendinblue) — handles transactional email and the lead-magnet list. EU data centers (Paris). Brevo's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — serves this site and proxies form submissions. We do not share form contents with Cloudflare beyond what's required to route the HTTP request.
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymized IP, page-view + interaction metrics. No personal info from forms is sent to GA4.
- Microsoft Clarity — session replay (masked) for UX research. We mask all form inputs by default so passwords / PII are never recorded.
- Microsoft Bing UET — conversion tracking for Bing/Microsoft Ads. No personal info from forms is sent.
We never sell or share your contact details with third parties beyond the processors above.
Cookies
We use:
- One
_gacookie family for GA4 (anonymized). - Clarity session cookies, expire on browser close.
- Bing UET cookie for conversion attribution.
No third-party marketing cookies. No ad-retargeting pixels.
For mainland China visitors (PIPL note)
The chinaonramp.com site is hosted on Cloudflare's global network (currently not on a mainland China POP). If you submit a form from a mainland Chinese network, your form data is transmitted to Brevo's EU infrastructure for delivery to Mike's inbox. By submitting, you consent to this cross-border data transfer under PIPL Article 38.
For EU visitors (GDPR note)
Legal basis: legitimate interest (responding to your inquiry) and consent (analytics + session replay). You can revoke consent or request deletion by emailing [email protected] with subject "GDPR delete me."
Your rights
You can:
- Ask what we hold on you.
- Ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete it (we'll honor any legal retention requirement, then purge).
- Object to processing for marketing — our default is no marketing emails unless you opt in via a lead-magnet form.
